The movement of molecules from an area of higher density to an area of lower density
Real World Example
Imagine a crowded subway train at rush hour, packed with passengers eager to get off at the next stop. Just like passengers spilling out of the train and spreading out onto the platform where there's more space, molecules move from an area where they're densely packed to an area where they're less concentrated. In both cases, whether it's people or molecules, there's a natural tendency to move from overcrowded spaces to ones with more room, illustrating the concept of diffusion.
