Cell Membrane

The cell boundary that controls what enters and leaves the cell

Real World Example

Imagine you're at a popular concert, and the venue has strict security at the entrance to manage the crowd. Just like the security team decides who gets in and who stays out to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, the cell membrane selectively regulates what substances can enter or leave the cell to maintain its proper function. The security team is analogous to the cell membrane, as both serve as gatekeepers controlling the flow of people or molecules to maintain order and balance within their respective environments.
