Example:
Imagine you're holding a tube of toothpaste and squeezing it from the bottom. Just like how the toothpaste rises and comes out of the nozzle due to the pressure you apply, an artesian well allows water to rise and flow naturally because of the pressure in the aquifer. In this analogy, your hand squeezing the tube represents the pressure in the underground aquifer, the toothpaste represents the water, and the nozzle of the tube is like the well opening through which the water emerges.
