Real World Example

Imagine trying to find your way to the kitchen in the middle of the night when you're hungry. Just like how you instinctively move towards where you remember the light switch or the refrigerator glow, plants grow towards a light source to gain energy for photosynthesis. In this scenario, your hunger is akin to the plant's need for light, and just as you navigate towards the light to satisfy your hunger, plants direct their growth towards the light to fulfill their energy requirements.
