The ability to solve problems using past experiences, also called reasoning
Real World Example
Imagine you’re trying to assemble a piece of flat-pack furniture, but the instructions are missing. Just like when you recall how you successfully put together a similar piece of furniture last year, insight learning involves using past experiences to solve new problems. In both scenarios, you rely on your memory of previous solutions—whether it's remembering which screw goes where or applying a past strategy to a new problem—demonstrating how reasoning helps us navigate unfamiliar situations by drawing on what we've learned before.
