The part of the neuron that contains the nucleus, most of the cytoplasm, and organelles

Real World Example

Imagine trying to organize all your household bills, receipts, and important documents in one central location to easily manage your finances. The cell body of a neuron acts like this central hub, where it contains the nucleus (akin to your filing system for important documents) and most of the cytoplasm and organelles (similar to the various folders and tools you use to manage and process information). Just as your home office is the core area for organizing and making decisions about your finances, the cell body is the neuron's command center, coordinating all the activities needed to keep the neuron functioning properly.
