Air Pressure

The weight of the air pressing down on a surface

Real World Example

Imagine trying to carry a heavy backpack up a hill, feeling the weight pressing down on your shoulders. This is similar to how the air around us behaves, constantly exerting pressure on everything it touches due to its own weight. Just as the backpack's weight pushes down on your shoulders, the air's weight presses down on surfaces, including the ground and everything on it, creating what we know as air pressure.
