Real World Example
Imagine trying to clear a dusty floor by sweeping it with a broom. Just as the broom's bristles work together to push the dust in a particular direction, cilia are like tiny brooms on the surface of cells, moving in unison to propel the organism through its environment. In both cases, the small, coordinated movements—whether it's the sweeping action of bristles or the synchronized beating of cilia—collectively accomplish the task of movement or cleaning.
