Real World Example

Imagine trying to charge your phone, but the only available outlet is across the room from where you want to sit. This is similar to how chlorophyll in plants works because it captures the light energy from the sun, much like you would plug in your phone to capture electrical energy. Just as your phone charger conducts electricity from the outlet to power your device, chlorophyll absorbs light and converts it into energy to fuel the plant's processes through photosynthesis.
