Real World Example

Imagine you're at a crowded party trying to have a conversation with a friend, but someone keeps walking between you and your friend, temporarily blocking your view. This situation is similar to an eclipse, where one celestial body moves between another body and its light source, casting a shadow. Just as the person at the party momentarily obstructs your line of sight, during an eclipse, one space object passes through the shadow of another, blocking light and creating a temporary 'interruption' in visibility.
