A streak of light created when a meteoroid is heated by Earth’s atmosphere

Real World Example

Imagine you're entering a crowded room, and suddenly all eyes are on you, making you feel warm and slightly uncomfortable. Similarly, when a meteoroid enters Earth's atmosphere, it experiences intense heat and pressure as it speeds through the air, causing it to glow brightly. Just as your presence in the crowded room creates a noticeable reaction, the meteoroid's rapid entry into the thick atmosphere generates friction and heat, producing the streak of light we call a meteor.
