Consumer

Unlike a plant, cannot make its own food, instead it eats other living things

Real World Example

Imagine trying to cook dinner without any ingredients in your kitchen. Just like you need to go to the store to gather food because you can't magically create it yourself, some consumers in nature rely on other living things for their sustenance. These consumers, unlike plants, cannot produce their own food through processes like photosynthesis and must depend on consuming other organisms to survive, much like you depend on the store to provide the ingredients you need for your meals.
