The loss of water vapor through the stomata in a plant’s leaves
Real World Example
Imagine you're stuck in traffic on a hot day, and you decide to open your car windows to let out some of the heat. This is similar to how plants lose water vapor through their stomata; they open tiny pores on their leaves to release excess water and cool down. Just like you open your car windows to manage the car's internal temperature and avoid overheating, plants open their stomata to regulate their temperature and maintain a balance in their internal water levels.
