The energy in a wave

Real World Example

Imagine trying to carry a large pile of laundry up a flight of stairs without dropping anything. Just like how the height of the pile determines how difficult it is to manage, the amplitude of a wave determines the amount of energy it carries. In both cases, a larger pile or higher amplitude means more energy is needed to handle the task, whether it's carrying laundry or transmitting energy through a wave.
