Apical Meristem

The cells at the tips of roots and stems, as they divide, the root and stem lengthen
Real World Example
Imagine trying to fit more clothes into an already packed suitcase by carefully rearranging and folding the items to create more space. This is similar to how the apical meristem works at the tips of roots and stems, where new cells are added, allowing the plant to grow longer. Just as you manipulate the space within a suitcase to make room for more clothes, the apical meristem continuously divides and adds new cells to extend the plant's roots and stems, effectively "lengthening" them to reach more nutrients or sunlight.
