Bile

A fluid produced by the liver that breaks down fat particles

Real World Example

Imagine trying to wash a greasy pan with just water; the grease doesn't budge and coats everything it touches. This is similar to how the body deals with fats in the digestive system; fats are not easily broken down in the watery environment of the intestines. Bile acts like dish soap in this scenario, emulsifying fats into smaller droplets that can be more easily digested and absorbed, just as soap breaks down grease, allowing it to be washed away with water.
