Small Intestine
Loading image...
The long organ where most food digestion occurs, it connects to the stomach
Real World Example
Imagine trying to organize a long string of Christmas lights that are tangled up in a box. Just like unraveling and stretching out those lights so they can illuminate your home, the small intestine unwinds and stretches inside your body to digest food efficiently. The tangled lights are like the food we eat—initially bunched up and hard to manage, but once they travel through the long, winding passage of the small intestine, or the 'unraveled space,' they are broken down into energy, much like how the lights are finally able to shine brightly when properly arranged.
