Real World Example

Imagine you're in a traffic jam where you can see the tops of the cars in front of you but can't move forward until the car directly ahead moves. This situation is similar to measuring the wavelength of a wave, where you're essentially measuring the distance from the peak of one wave crest to the next. Just as the gap between car tops indicates how far you are from moving forward, the distance between wave crests measures how far one wave travels before the next one starts, highlighting the concept of wavelength.
