Real World Example

Imagine you're at a crowded party trying to catch snippets of conversation from different groups. This is similar to how frequency works, where each group's conversation represents a different cycle or vibration occurring in a given time period. Just like you'd count how many times you hear a particular conversation within a second, frequency measures how many cycles of a wave occur per second, and this is quantified in hertz (Hz).
