Photon

A particle or packet of light energy

Real World Example

Imagine trying to carry a large pile of laundry up the stairs in one go, only to find it's much easier to handle when divided into several smaller loads. Similarly, light energy travels in manageable packets called photons, rather than as one continuous wave. Just as dividing laundry into smaller bundles makes it easier to transport, photons allow light energy to move efficiently and effectively through space, with each photon acting like a small, individual load of light energy.
