Suspension

A mixture in which the solid particles are large enough to be seen

Real World Example

Imagine you're trying to separate pieces of cereal from milk in your breakfast bowl. Just like how the cereal bits are large enough to scoop out individually because they are clearly visible and distinct from the milk, in a suspension, the solid particles are large enough to be seen and can often be separated by simple methods like filtration. The connection here is that both the cereal and the solid particles in a suspension are easily noticeable and can be separated from the liquid they are within because they are not dissolved and remain distinctly visible.
