Global Climate Change

The mainly human-caused rise of the average temperature of the Earth's climate system
Real World Example
Imagine your car is parked in the sun on a hot day, and the interior becomes unbearably warm. Just like how the closed windows and metal body of the car trap heat inside, greenhouse gases in the Earth's atmosphere trap heat from the sun, causing global temperatures to rise. The way your car heats up due to the sun's rays being trapped is analogous to how human activities increase greenhouse gases, which trap more heat in the Earth's atmosphere and lead to global climate change.
