This is similar to how an acoelomate, like a flatworm, functions as it lacks a body cavity to separate its gut from its body wall. Just as the lack of compartments in the suitcase makes it hard to keep things organized and separate, the absence of a body cavity in an acoelomate means its internal organs are all packed closely together without any distinct separation, leading to a simpler but less organized body structure.
