The process by which nutrients move out of the small intestine and into the blood

Real World Example

Imagine trying to get out of a crowded concert hall after a show ends, with everyone slowly moving towards the exits. This is similar to how nutrients move from the small intestine into the bloodstream, as both scenarios involve a transition from a dense area to a more open one. Just as people squeeze out through doors to enter the open space outside, nutrients pass through the intestinal walls into the bloodstream, effectively transitioning from a 'crowded' environment in the gut to the 'open' circulation system where they can travel freely.
