A measure of how much solute will dissolve in a solvent
Real World Example
Imagine trying to fit all your clothes into a single suitcase for a long trip. This is similar to solubility because just like there's a limit to how many clothes you can pack into that suitcase, there's a limit to how much solute can dissolve in a solvent. The suitcase represents the solvent, the clothes are the solute, and just as the suitcase can only hold a certain amount before it won't close, the solvent can only dissolve a certain amount of solute before it becomes saturated.
