Imagine you're at a party, and your phone battery is at 80% while your friend's phone is nearly dead at 5%. Just like when you might lend your friend a power bank to transfer some charge to their phone, heat naturally transfers from a warmer object to a cooler one. In this analogy, your phone's high battery percentage is like the warmer object, your friend’s low battery is like the cooler object, and the power bank represents the thermal energy that moves from one to the other, equalizing their levels.
