Air Pressure

The weight of the air pressing down on a surface
Real World Example
Imagine trying to carry a stack of heavy books on your head while balancing and walking around your home. This is similar to how air pressure works, where the weight of the air above presses down on everything beneath it. Just like each book adds weight and pressure on your head, each layer of air adds pressure down onto the Earth's surface, which is why we feel air pressure all around us even though we can't see it.
