Hydrosphere

All the water on Earth

Real World Example

Imagine trying to find a pair of matching socks in a drawer filled with all sorts of different socks. Just as your sock drawer contains every sock you own, the hydrosphere encompasses all the water on Earth, from the oceans to underground reservoirs. Just like each sock in the drawer has its place and contributes to the total collection, each body of water, whether it's a river, lake, or ocean, plays a part in the Earth's hydrosphere, collectively forming a vast interconnected system of water.
