Isotope

An atom of the same element with a different number of neutrons
Real World Example
Imagine you're trying to fit into a pair of pants that come in various sizes, but each size looks almost identical on the outside. This is similar to isotopes, where you have atoms of the same element (like the pants being the same style) but with different numbers of neutrons (like the pants having different waist sizes). Just as the pants' size changes the fit without altering their appearance, isotopes have different masses due to the number of neutrons, while still behaving as the same element chemically.
