A circuit in which current can flow through more than one path
Real World Example
Imagine you're at a buffet with multiple food stations. Just as you have the choice to visit different stations to fill your plate, in a parallel circuit, the electric current can choose between multiple paths to flow through. Each food station represents a different path in the circuit, and just as you can visit one station without affecting the flow of others, the current can flow through one path without impacting the others, ensuring all components receive energy independently.
